The aluminum cleaner is acid-based, allowing it to cut through grease, oils, carbon, welding smut, and plastics; perfect for preparing aluminum surfaces for painting. Because of the acidity, caution is needed when using the product; wear protective gear. 

Do NOT use on glass, polished aluminum, or anodized aluminum.
